Mission of the Pete Miller Charitable Foundation

Pete Miller and wife Suzanne raised six children together.  Pete at times managed three jobs to support his family.  Somehow he found time to coach and mentor youths of all ages, boys and girls in a variety of local sports.

Later his focus became working tirelessly with various local charities. His primary mission was to raise revenue and awareness for York County Hospital, now Southlake Regional Health Centre.

The Pete Miller Charitable Foundation (“ P.M.C.F”) objective is to continue the legacy and efforts of Pete by supporting the Southlake Regional Cancer Centre.

We have all been touched by Cancer, however collectively we can make a difference.

Pete, unfortunately, passed away on February 6, 2004 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

The Southlake Regional Cancer Centre will offer treatments to cancer patients that were not available to Pete and thousands of patients like him, once the door opens in 2009.  P.M.C.F supporters believe, as Pete did,  that Cancer can be beaten.
